Agregat is continuing its growth across Northern Ontario with the launch of a new crushing project in the Timmins area. We are currently seeking an experienced Loader Operator who is ready to play a key role in the successful startup of a new operation and contribute to a team recognized for its expertise, safety culture, and commitment to excellence.

Main responsibilities

  • Operate a loader safely, efficiently, and productively.
  • Feed the crushing plant according to operational requirements.
  • Perform loading, hauling, stockpiling, and material handling activities.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Identify and report mechanical issues, equipment deficiencies, or unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work closely with supervisors, operators, and other team members to optimize production.
  • Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times.

 

Qualifications and skills sought

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Loader Operator in mining, quarry, crushing, or related heavy equipment operations.
  • Experience operating a CAT 980 loader or equivalent-sized equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
  • Availability to work rotational schedules at a remote job site.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
