Agrégat R-N is proud to announce a 5-year crushing contract with IAMGOLD Corporation and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. for the Côté Gold mining project located in Gogama, in Ontario.
We are looking for Millwrights/Welders to join its team.
Main responsibilities
- Focus on reducing downtime and executing a preventative maintenance program, troubleshooting equipment and performing corrective actions;
- Ensure preventive maintenance, optimization of uptime and general maintenance repairs of crushing equipment;
- Detect and repair irregularities and malfunctions;
- Troubleshoot and provide maintenance on equipment: dismantle, repair/replace parts and perform maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, etc.;
- Repair or replace defective parts of the PM type crusher, in a planned or unforeseen manner;
- Fabricate parts required during repair, maintenance and/or installation when necessary;
- Work independently and / or in a team when necessary;
- Promote and comply with health and safety regulations;
- Ensure a professional, clean and safe working area at all times;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Qualifications and skills sought
- Valid driver’s license;
- Bilingualism (English-French);
- Certified Millwright qualification (or in the process of being completed);
- 3-5 years of experience in a crushing environment;
- Specialized “MTCU Surface Common Core” modules – asset;
- Good written and oral communication skills;
- Experience with conveyors, belt conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, reducers, machinery rebuilding and troubleshooting;
- Ability to work on a rotating schedule and to receive emergency service calls in a camp-based position.
